What is a conducteur de travaux called in German and English?
The French title covers technical, administrative and financial control of building sites. Two of the three usual translations understate it.
short answer
In German the title is Bauleiter, and the functional match is close. In English, construction manager carries the scope; site manager is nearer to a French chef de chantier. The French certified title exists at more than one level, so check the certification, not the words.
